When We Are Closed

If you need to see a doctor when surgery is closed please call the surgery on 01744 22520/25533 and your call will be directed to an emergency GP service.

You may also call NHS111 (dial 111) if you need medical help fast but it’s not a 999 emergency.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

Enhanced Access

The Enhanced Access Service is available Monday to Friday, from 18:30-21:00 and Saturdays, 09:00-17:00. The Face to Face appointments on Saturdays will be held at the following venues:

• Rainhill Village Surgery 529 Warrington Road, Rainhill L35 4LP
• The Spinney Medical Centre Whittle Street St Helens Merseyside WA10 3EB

The service is being delivered by St Helens South PCN.

Between 08:30 – 18:30 (Mon – Fri) you can contact the surgery for an appointment.
